I’m sorry,

but I just can’t do it.

I just can’t be “cynical”.

To me, this apathy scares me.

I have tried it for years,

and it was like being dead.

I ask myself,

how do others die every day.

I’m afraid,

of this slow death.

This false indifference,

these shields of appearances.

I’m really tired,

of these clichés.

Of these chants,

it seems that they are all homologated,

to all say the same things.

To grow up,

does not mean getting colder,

does not mean becoming more cynic,

it means becoming more autonomous.

It means more and more,

know who you are,

what do you want,

where should you go,

and do it.

Carrying everything, all the way.

It seems paradoxical,

but you become too mature,

to let it go,

to surrender.

Grow up,

I want to,

in my own way,

feeling compassion,

for who has casted me away.

Forgiveness, not hate,

I think it’s wiser to do that,

instead closing gates.

Better live

Without resentement,

but wiht a new settlement.

A good sentiment,

creating a new element.

This i show I think I should grow,

no cynicism or cold to show.

I want to be better, now I know,

i want to shine, to glow.
