Original version

Look at me me,

I am a snake,

I crawl, no legs, no hands,

without even the poison

inside me.

harmless,

yet, I see many running away

at my sight.

I cause horror

And disgust

For my skin,

my appearance

and what I stand for.

Original sin

That never belonged to me.

They are just a symbol

Of human evil.

They are just a symbol

Of what many don’t want to be

Or so they believe.

I am a cursed creature

I am  what many have forgotten.
